Oh and the abstract part of this is amazing and I can't say anything more on that.
But is this a metaphor for war, disagreement, or just a rivalry? Having the abstract part being separate removes it from the people, almost as if it was a metaphysical battle field. On purpose? If so I take back everything I said. Having the title be "figurative or abstract" adds to this sense of discord and disagreement.
